The City of Ocala’s City Path Training Academy is launching its Electric Summer Program, a hands-on academy designed to introduce young adults to the world of electrical utilities. Students will receive real, practical training from our local Ocala Electric Utility team while gaining exposure to the tools, equipment, and safety practices used in the field.

Key highlights of the program:

• Hands-on learning with experienced OEU professionals
• A complete starter tool kit
• A supportive, structured training environment
• A certificate of completion that grants applicants preference in the hiring process if they later apply to the City of Ocala after completing the program
