Future Educators Academy

Future Academy Flyer Challenge of a first year teacher

Are you looking to make a difference in your community by educating children? Consider the Future Educators Academy at Vanguard High School to help your goal of becoming a teacher! The Future Educators Academy introduces teachers of tomorrow to the profession of education. This program provides hands-on experiences and insights into the teaching profession. Students participate in field trips, hear from guest speakers, and assist teachers at Vanguard High and local elementary schools, including Oakcrest Elementary.

While in the program, students can earn their ParaProfessional Certification by passing the ParaPro Assessment, a test required in many states. This certification helps students become teacher's assistants in Marion County or other districts nationwide.

Our goal is to develop and hire homegrown educators to meet the growing need for quality teachers in Marion County Public Schools.
